Gradings And Certification

The Ju Dachi Martial Arts Association awards their students / instructors with various certificates providing the student / instructor has met all the requirements set forth by the JDMA Association. This ensures that all students and instructors are of a high standard. There are many different types of certificates available; below are some examples:

Kyu Grade Certificate

A kyu grade certificate is an award which students can earn as they progress through the JDMA syllabus. These certificates are awarded for 10th – 1st Kyu (level.)

Top Student Of The Month Award

Every 4 months, students who have performed well with 100% attendance can earn this certificate to show recognition of their hard work and commitment.

Dan Grading

A Dan grade certificate is an award which students can earn as they complete all the basic techniques within the JDMA syllabus. These certificates are awarded for 1st Dan degree. Once the student has received his / her 1st Dan award, the student will usually begin his / her Sempai (Club Assistant) Certification while the student trains for their 2nd Dan.
